GCash Launches Food Hub: Now You Can Order Meals Straight From the App
GCash just made our foodie lives a lot easier.
The country’s top e-wallet has rolled out a brand-new feature called Food Hub, and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like, you can now order food for delivery, pickup, or dine-in directly through the GCash app!
This exciting update comes through a partnership with Singaporean tech company Tablevibe, which connects over 4,000 restaurants around the Philippines. Some of the names you’ll recognize right away: The Bistro Group, Pickup Coffee, Kenny Rogers, 24 Chicken, Chooks-To-Go, Andok’s, and The Moment Group. That means your cravings for chicken, pasta, coffee, or rice meals can now be satisfied with just a few taps.
Aside from making food ordering super convenient, the GCash Food Hub also offers exclusive deals and promos you won’t get anywhere else.
Another cool bonus? The scan-to-order feature. If you’re dining in, you can just scan a QR code on your table to check out the menu, order what you want, and pay, no need to wait for the staff or line up at the counter. Fast, easy, and very tita-friendly!
GCash president Oscar Reyes Jr. says the goal is to help restaurants grow while giving users a smoother experience. Tablevibe’s team also shared that this setup helps boost restaurant sales and keeps costs low, something small and big businesses will love.
What started as a simple way to send money has grown into an all-around lifestyle app. GCash already lets you pay bills, invest, get loans, and buy insurance. Now with food ordering added to the mix, it’s basically your one-stop app for everything.
So if you're hungry and hate switching between apps, GCash’s Food Hub might just be your new best friend.
