ABS-CBN makes a comeback via ALLTV starting January 2, 2026

Kapamilya fans, get ready! ABS-CBN is set to return on-air via the Kapamilya Channel on ALLTV, thanks to a new licensing deal between ABS-CBN and Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS). Starting January 2, 2026, viewers can once again enjoy top ABS-CBN shows on the ALLTV platform.

Fans will be able to catch hit dramas like FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, and What Lies Beneath, along with variety and news programs such as It’s Showtime, ASAP, and TV Patrol. While many programs will now air on ALLTV, some prime shows will still be available on A2Z, and select programs like It’s Showtime and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0 will air on GMA.

This move follows TV5’s decision to end its content agreement with ABS-CBN, effective the same date. ABS-CBN has already fulfilled its obligations with TV5 and MediaQuest and thanked them, including Manny V. Pangilinan, for hosting ABS-CBN shows since 2021.

The new partnership is especially significant considering ABS-CBN’s history with ALLTV’s frequencies. Before the previous Duterte administration blocked the renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise in 2020, ABS-CBN had operated on these same frequencies, which led to the shutdown of all its free-to-air broadcasts. Since 2024, AMBS has carried select ABS-CBN programs, including classics from Jeepney TV, as well as It’s Showtime and TV Patrol.

ABS-CBN and AMBS reaffirm their commitment to delivering stories, news, and entertainment that bring joy, hope, and inspiration to Filipino households nationwide.
