Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino Reunite for New Drama ‘The Alibi’

Kapamilya favorites Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are ready to captivate fans once again, this time through their latest project titled The Alibi. Dreamscape Entertainment shared the big news on June 18 by posting first-look photos of the two stars as Vincent Cabrera and Marie Morales.

This new drama brings back the duo for a fourth time. Fans first saw their chemistry in Linlang, which became a hit when it premiered on Prime Video in 2023 and later reached even more viewers on free TV in 2024.

Their partnership didn’t stop there. They went on to work side by side in the local version of the popular K-drama What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. Earlier this year, they also made their big-screen debut together in the romance film My Love Will Make You Disappear, which premiered last March.

The Alibi is penned by Danica Mae Domingo and will be directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin. With this powerhouse team and the proven chemistry of Kim and Paulo, fans can expect another must-watch series that mixes passion, mystery, and drama.
