Emilio Daez and Michael Sager’s Friendship Sparks Talk of Future BL Series

It hasn’t been long since Emilio Daez left the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition house, but his life has already taken a big turn. Since his eviction on April 26, Emilio has been making the rounds on various media platforms, often appearing with fellow evictee Michael Sager. The two quickly earned attention as a duo, now affectionately called “MiLi” by fans.

Though their time inside the house was short, Emilio and Michael’s strong friendship became one of the highlights of this season. Fans couldn’t help but notice their natural connection and playful chemistry, and soon enough, the idea of seeing them together in a Boys' Love (BL) series started circulating online.

At a recent media event with Star Magic, Emilio was asked if he would consider doing a BL project with Michael. His response was full of warmth and professionalism. He shared that both he and Michael are open to exploring different roles, and that if the opportunity came, they’d gladly take it on.

“It’s not something we’d say no to,” Emilio said, explaining that they’re both ready to give their best in whatever project comes their way.

What makes Emilio stand out is how naturally he expresses himself. He credits his upbringing for this trait, saying that both sides of his family are very affectionate and open with their feelings. That same attitude shows in the way he talks about Michael, not with any pretense, just genuine care and respect for someone he now considers a best friend in the industry.

Even if some people read into their closeness, Emilio says it’s just how he is. When he’s comfortable with someone, he shows it. And when it comes to Michael, he’s not shy to admit how much he enjoys their time together, whether during interviews or just hanging out.

What started as a reality TV stint has now blossomed into a strong bond that Emilio is thankful for. According to him, working with someone who feels like a best friend makes the job feel less like work and more like something to enjoy every step of the way.
