Anne Curtis isn’t just staying in the entertainment spotlight these days. As the 2025 elections get closer, she’s stepping into political conversations and encouraging others to do the same.
On Facebook, the actress and TV host shared a post showing some of the senatorial hopefuls she’s currently supporting. Among them are Kiko Pangilinan, Bam Aquino, Heidi Mendoza, and Luke Espiritu, all known for standing up for causes like farming, education, fighting corruption, and human rights.
Anne didn’t stop at sharing her choices. She asked her followers to join in and recommend others to complete what she called her “Magic 12” list. It wasn’t just about picking names, she wanted to know why those people deserved a spot, clearly pushing for voters to think things through.
She also voiced her support for Akbayan Partylist, especially its first nominee, Atty. Chel Diokno. She said she’s followed his work for a while and praised how he keeps educating people about their rights without getting tired of it. Her message? Don’t sleep on him this time around.
It’s not the first time Anne has used her voice on national issues. Just a few days earlier, she spoke up about the need for better road safety rules after several serious accidents made headlines. Little by little, she’s showing how celebrities can help bring important topics into everyday conversation.
The midterm elections are set for May 12, and the day has already been declared a non-working holiday. Anne’s message comes at a good time, reminding everyone that even a simple post can start bigger, more meaningful conversations.
