Kiray Celis Shares the Sweet Story Behind Her Surprise Engagement

Kiray Celis is still on cloud nine after getting engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Stephan Estopia.

She thought she was just hosting a company event at Misibis Bay when Stephan surprised her with a proposal. Kiray admitted she had a small gut feeling something might happen but didn’t want to expect too much, especially after a false alarm during their anniversary last December.

During a game where Stephan was supposed to win ₱5,000, he got emotional — which confused Kiray at first. She thought he was just missing his family. But when he started giving a heartfelt speech, she realized it was the real thing.

Kiray even joked that she thought about the ring’s value at first, hoping it could be their "emergency fund," but once Stephan knelt down, she instantly said yes without thinking about anything else.

Later, Kiray found out the ring was a beautiful three-carat piece, exceeding all her expectations. Still, she said the most important thing was ending up with the person she truly loves.

While they haven’t set a wedding date yet, Kiray shared they’re planning to get married this year with family and close friends around. Her mom is already excited to see her walk down the aisle — and maybe even welcome a grandchild soon!
