Kim Chiu has been keeping herself busy since she won the first Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition. She tapes for her new teleserye, Sana Maulit Muli, three times a week. One day is dedicated to her sitcom, Aalog-alog, where she stars alongside Pokwang, Keanna Reeves, Gerald Anderson, John Prats, Zanjoe Marudo, and Jason of the original PBB. She also appears in the "Pasko na Santa" episode of the weekly series Love Spell with Ai Ai de las Alas and Vhong Navarro.
When asked if she still has time for herself, Kim said, "I still have time. It's just not like before, when I could do anything I wanted at any time. Now, I prioritize my work. Honestly, I love being busy."
Kim is excited about her first teleserye with Gerald Anderson. In Sana Maulit Muli, Kim plays Jasmine Sta. Maria, and Gerald plays Travis Johnson. Their characters, childhood friends, get separated at a young age but promise to reunite. Their journey to happiness is filled with deception. Kim shares, "Our roles are both dramatic. It’s a new and challenging experience for me."
The cast also includes Mickey Ferriols as Emily Sta. Maria, Tonton Gutierrez and Glydel Mercado as George and Clara Soriano, Erich Gonzales as Camille, Gloria Diaz as Monica Johnson, and Jake Cuenca as Gloria's other son. The series is set to air in January on ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Primetime Bida.
The creative team behind the show includes directors Jerome Pobocan and Tots Sanchez-Mariscal, executive producer Deo Edrinal, and head writer Reggie Amigo, among others.
