Dolly de Leon Takes on Detective Role in New Apple TV+ Series

It looks like Dolly de Leon is adding another exciting role to her growing international career, this time as a detective in an upcoming streaming series.

The show, titled Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, will premiere on Apple TV Plus starting May 20. The first two episodes will be released right away, followed by weekly drops until mid-July, giving viewers something to look forward to every week.

In the series, de Leon plays Detective Sofia Gonzalez, working alongside another investigator as they dig into a complicated case. Early images from the show already give a glimpse of her in action, focused on solving the mystery.

The story centers on a character named Paula, played by Tatiana Maslany. After going through a divorce, her life takes an unexpected turn when she believes she witnessed a crime. What starts as suspicion slowly turns into something bigger, pulling her into a dangerous situation involving murder and secrets.

The show blends dark humor with suspense, which makes it stand out from typical crime dramas. It is not just about solving a case, but also about how the characters deal with their own personal struggles along the way.

The cast also includes several familiar faces such as Jake Johnson, Murray Bartlett, and Brandon Flynn, adding more depth to the series.

For de Leon, this role marks another milestone after gaining global attention for her performance in Triangle of Sadness. She has since appeared in Nine Perfect Strangers and is also set to be part of the upcoming animated film Forgotten Island.

Meanwhile, Maslany continues to build on her reputation after her award-winning work in Orphan Black, where she played multiple roles that earned her widespread praise.
