One act stood out in the latest Pilipinas Got Talent semi-finals, and his name is now hard to forget, Cardong Trumpo. With his jaw-dropping tricks using a traditional Filipino spinning top, Cardo easily captured the attention and admiration of both the audience and the judges.

The crowd clearly loved what they saw. He bagged a staggering 92.11% of the public vote, leaving all other contestants far behind. Thanks to that overwhelming support, Cardo secured the top spot and automatically advanced to the grand finals.

Cardo’s performance wasn’t just about spinning a top. He elevated it into an art form. He skillfully made the trumpo spin on his palm, on the tip of a needle, on top of another spinning top, across a deck of cards, and even sent it gliding across a thin rope.
