Ariana Grande Joins the Cast of ‘Meet the Parents 4’ Alongside De Niro and Stiller
Ariana Grande is taking on another exciting movie role! The pop icon and actress is officially joining the cast of the fourth Meet the Parents film, adding a fresh twist to the beloved comedy series.
The new film, Meet the Parents 4, is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2026. Fans of the franchise will be thrilled to know that both Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller are returning to reprise their iconic roles. The movie will be written and directed by John Hamburg, who’s known for his sharp comedic style.
The original Meet the Parents debuted back in 2000 and quickly became a fan favorite. It followed Greg Focker, a well-meaning but often unlucky nurse, as he tried to impress his girlfriend’s strict and ex-CIA agent father. Two sequels followed: Meet the Fockers in 2004 and Little Fockers in 2010. Now, with Ariana stepping into the next chapter, it’s safe to say the family comedy is getting a fun new spark.
Before Meet the Parents 4 arrives, Ariana will be gracing the big screen in Wicked: For Good, the follow-up to Wicked: Part 1, which is set for release this November. She returns as Glinda, and her performance in the first part of the musical was met with massive acclaim. Earlier this year, she received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, her first ever.
On Instagram, Ariana shared her emotional reaction to the news, saying she was overwhelmed with gratitude and couldn’t stop crying. She thanked the Academy, her director Jon M. Chu, and her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba. The film itself also earned a Best Picture nod.
It’s clear that Ariana’s acting career is soaring, and with two major films lined up, including a beloved comedy franchise and a magical musical, her fans have a lot to look forward to.
