New Drama Alert? Park Bo-gum Is Reviewing a Tempting Offer
It looks like Park Bo-gum might be coming back to our screens soon in another exciting K-drama, and this time, it's with the writer of the iconic Boys Over Flowers.
The actor is currently reviewing an offer to star in a new series titled “Night Traveler,” which is penned by Yoon Ji-ryeon, known for her work on Boys Over Flowers and Angel Eyes. While nothing has been confirmed yet, Bo-gum’s agency, THEBLACKLABEL, shared that the offer is on the table and he’s considering it carefully.
Fans have been eager to see what Bo-gum will do next, especially after his heartfelt performance as Gwan-sik in When Life Gives You Tangerines, a recent Netflix hit. In that series, he brought so much emotion and depth to a character whose love story unfolds beautifully through the four seasons of life. In past interviews, Bo-gum shared how he was drawn to the show's timeless quality and the kind of story you'd proudly share with your family and fans alike. And let’s not forget, he got to act alongside IU, which made the experience even more special for him.
Beyond the romantic themes, Bo-gum said what really stayed with him was the message of deep human connection, the way his character, Gwan-sik, cared selflessly for those around him. That quiet kind of love, he said, is something he’ll carry with him.
And more Bo-gum is coming our way soon. On May 31, he’s set to star in a new series called “Good Boy” on Prime Video. This drama follows a group of former Olympic athletes who, after struggling with the end of their sports careers, join a special government unit to become part of law enforcement. Bo-gum plays Yoon Dong-joo, a former boxing champion turned crime-fighter, a role that blends heart, action, and redemption.
Whether it’s romance or action, Park Bo-gum continues to show his incredible range as an actor, and if Night Traveler moves forward, it’ll be another exciting chapter to watch unfold.
