Lola Amour Gears Up for 9th Anniversary with a Wild New Single, “Misbehave”

After nearly a decade of making feel-good indie pop that blends funk, soul, and a whole lot of charm, Lola Amour is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, they’re turning things up a notch. Following the international buzz of their last single, Dance With My Mistakes, the band is back with a fresh track called Misbehave and it’s all about embracing chaos.

Set to be released on May 30, Misbehave is a high-energy anthem about giving in to your impulsive side. The song is loud, fun, and unapologetically wild. With fast riffs and a powerful rhythm, it draws listeners into a whirlwind of decisions you probably shouldn’t make, but will enjoy anyway. It’s a sonic step away from their usual, but still very much Lola Amour.

To celebrate both the single and their 9th year as a band, Lola Amour is throwing a special one-night-only anniversary concert at the Open Air Auditorium in Rizal Park, Luneta. What started as just another show has turned into something much bigger. Over 10,000 fans have already signed up, with the band admitting they didn’t expect this level of excitement. Their team is now working hard to make room for more fans who want in on the celebration.

The band’s recent momentum isn’t just local, it’s global. Their song Dance With My Mistakes, which dropped last April 2, was co-produced by Hyuk Shin, a hitmaker who’s worked with artists like Justin Bieber, EXO, and SHINee. That same track followed their viral collaboration with Australian artist Oliver Cronin (Maria), and other moments like EXO’s Chanyeol covering Raining in Manila during a Manila concert, and a HONNE clip singing the same track.

Add to that a viral feature on Crash Adams’ socials, where their video reached nearly 8 million views, and it's clear Lola Amour isn’t just making waves; they’re riding a rising global tide.

Since their 2013 debut, the band has built a loyal following for their refreshing take on indie music, and their continued success proves just how far Filipino talent can go. With Misbehave, Lola Amour invites everyone to dance through the chaos and celebrate nine years of music, memories, and milestones.
