Lisa Confirms New Blackpink Music Is on the Way, Just in Time for Their World Tour

K-pop fans, especially Blinks, have a lot to look forward to. Lisa, one of Blackpink’s most beloved members, just dropped a little but exciting teaser. The group is working on brand-new music!

In an interview with Variety, the Thai rapper and dancer revealed that she and the rest of the group were recently in the studio. While she kept details under wraps, her excitement was clear. According to her, everyone in Blackpink is thrilled to reunite and prepare for the big things ahead, especially their much-anticipated 2025 world tour.

Lisa didn’t give a specific date for the release, but she made it clear that fans should keep their eyes (and ears) open. She described it as something worth waiting for and reassured fans that the wait won’t be too long.

The new music will be their first release since 2023’s single “The Girls,” and it’s coming just in time to add more energy to their upcoming performances. Their last full album, Born Pink (2022), made global waves when it became the first album by a female group in over a decade to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That’s a huge achievement, and expectations are high for whatever’s coming next.

Blackpink's 2025 tour will start this July in South Korea and will take them across North America, Europe, and Japan. It’ll be a comeback not just for their music but for the whole group as they shift focus from their solo projects back to performing together.

While the members, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, have all been busy with their own paths over the past year, fans clearly miss seeing them as a group. Their last visit to the Philippines was in 2023 during their Born Pink tour, where they filled the Philippine Arena with thousands of cheering fans over two nights.

With new music and a global tour lined up, it looks like 2025 is going to be another huge year for Blackpink.
