Fans of Pinoy Big Brother got a fun surprise when Kapuso heartthrob David Licauco made his way into the iconic yellow house as the newest house guest. Known to many as the “Pambansang Ginoo,” David shared that while he’s excited, he’s also feeling quite nervous about the experience.
During Sunday night’s episode of PBB Celebrity Collab Edition, hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Gabbi Garcia introduced David to the audience as the latest addition to the house. While he won’t be a full-time housemate, his temporary stay is still something he’s been looking forward to for years.
David opened up about how being part of PBB was something he had dreamt of when he was younger. He recalled watching the show as a teenager and even admiring Bianca as one of the housemates back then. That childhood dream is now turning into reality, even if only for a while.
He admitted that being in the house comes with challenges, no phone, no work, and a major change to his usual morning routine. Still, he’s eager to take on this new adventure, especially since his best friend, Dustin Yu, is also inside the house. That reunion is definitely something viewers are excited to see.
The episode also revealed this week’s nominated duos for eviction: JoRa (Josh Ford and Ralph de Leon), ShuCa (Shuvee Etrata and Bianca de Vera), and XyDust (Xyriel Manabat and Dustin Yu). With David’s entry, the dynamics inside the house are bound to get even more interesting.
