Korean heartthrob Lee Min-ho lit up the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 26 as he reunited with his Filipino fans during the Manila stop of his Minhoverse fan meeting tour. This event marked his much-awaited return to the Philippines after nearly two years,and the crowd couldn't have been more excited.
Greeting the audience with warmth and sincerity, Lee Min-ho shared how much he missed the country. Through his interpreter, he said it had been almost two years since his last visit and that he was truly happy to be back.
He also expressed interest in seeing more of the Philippines beyond the usual tourist spots. While he mentioned Boracay and Cebu, he said he's particularly curious to discover lesser-known islands — places that haven’t yet become tourist magnets. “I want to find places that are still hidden gems,” he shared.
During the fan Q&A, Min-ho charmed everyone with his usual mix of humility and humor. When asked when he feels the cutest, he laughed and said it’s actually his fans, the Minoz, who always call him cute. He admitted he doesn't really think of himself that way, but appreciates the love.
Another question asked him which of his drama roles reflects his real personality. Rather than picking just one, he explained that he puts a piece of himself into every role he plays. Each character, he said, brings out a different part of his personality, especially when it comes to emotional scenes.
Fans were also treated to a mini concert, where Lee Min-ho performed beloved tracks like “I Love You,” “Always,” and “Good Night, Good Dream.” The night turned even more memorable when lucky fans were brought on stage to play games with the star, including a lively round of the traditional Filipino game, tumbang preso.
