j-hope Talks BTS Reunion Plans and What's Next for the Group After Military Service

BTS fans have a lot to look forward to, especially with all seven members expected to finish their military duties by June this year. j-hope recently opened up about the group’s plans after their long-awaited reunion, giving fans a reason to get even more excited.

In a candid interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, j-hope shared his anticipation for BTS's future. He said that once everyone is back, they plan to quickly meet up and talk about their next chapter as a group. For him, the energy of that reunion is something he knows will be powerful and inspiring.

Being apart for military service gave each member the chance to explore and grow individually. j-hope noted how their solo journeys have helped shape their personal identities. Now, he's curious and excited to see how these evolved versions of themselves will come together as BTS again. The blend of their different experiences and styles could bring something fresh to the table.

HYBE, the entertainment company behind BTS, has also confirmed that the boys will be returning to group activities in the second half of 2025. According to HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang, preparations have already started behind the scenes. While they’ve reached out to some top-tier songwriters, the company emphasized that the group will need time to reflect, plan, and align creatively before diving into music and performance projects.

As for a world tour? That might take a little longer. HYBE mentioned that tours usually follow after the release of new music, and with BTS being global icons, everything from songs to schedules will need to match the group’s vision and goals.

To date, Jin and j-hope have already completed their service. The rest, V, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, and Suga, are on track to finish theirs by June. With that milestone approaching fast, ARMYs around the world are counting down the days.

Whether it’s a new album, a tour, or something completely unexpected, it’s clear that BTS is coming back stronger and more united than ever.
