BillEase 'Buy Now, Pay Later' Now Works with Maya QR and POS
Shopping just got a lot easier for Filipinos, especially those without credit cards. BillEase, one of the country’s top Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platforms, has teamed up with Maya to offer installment payments right at checkout. Whether you're buying online or in a physical store that uses Maya Business payment systems, you can now choose to split your bill into manageable payments using BillEase.
This new option is rolling out across thousands of merchants that use Maya POS terminals or Maya Checkout for online payments. All you need is the BillEase app to scan the QR Ph code at the counter or online. No credit card? No problem. You can now enjoy the flexibility of paying in parts, something that was once only possible with plastic.
One of the best parts of this partnership is the option for 0% interest on purchases up to PHP 2,000 if paid within a month. For bigger buys, you can stretch your payments over longer terms with low interest. That’s a big win for both shoppers looking to budget and for businesses wanting to make their products more affordable.
According to BillEase’s Head of POS Product, Kurt Molina, this move makes installment shopping easier to access for everyday Filipinos. He pointed out that with this integration, more stores can now offer flexible payment terms, no credit checks needed.
Maya, on the other hand, is pushing to create a fully connected digital finance ecosystem. By adding BNPL to their suite of payment tools, they’re giving merchants more ways to attract and retain customers. Pete Cruz, Maya’s Head of Enterprise, said this kind of flexibility not only benefits shoppers, it also boosts sales for businesses.
This partnership brings modern financial convenience into more corners of the Philippines, bridging gaps and giving people better control over how and when they pay.
