SB19’s New EP Rockets Up U.S. Charts, Signaling a Big New Chapter

SB19 just made a major move with their new EP, Simula at Wakas, released on Friday (April 25). Within hours, it showed real promise in the U.S., marking one of their strongest debuts yet.

SB19 Hits No. 2 on iTunes U.S.

Fridays are packed with new releases, but SB19 stood out. Simula at Wakas quickly rose to No. 2 on the U.S. iTunes Top Albums chart, showing strong early support. Even though iTunes doesn't reflect all music sales, topping its charts is a strong sign that fans are excited and bigger achievements could follow.

The only album ahead of SB19 was Ghost’s Skeletá. For a time, they also trailed behind the Final Fantasy XIV soundtrack, but soon pushed past it. Other new releases this week included Machine Head, Coco Jones, and Shaboozey.

A Hit Single Before the EP

Before the full EP dropped, SB19's single "Dam" already made waves, reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. It was their first No. 1 there, following the success of "Gento," which peaked at No. 8 two years ago. With this momentum, SB19 seems ready to make an even bigger splash internationally.
