Iñigo Pascual Shares His Thoughts on Being Compared to His Dad Piolo
When actor Iñigo Pascual appeared on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" this Wednesday, he was asked how he feels about constantly being compared to his father, Piolo Pascual.
Iñigo said he actually feels proud whenever people make the comparison. For him, it’s only natural because his father is a huge part of who he is today.
“He’s part of my life and who I am. I wouldn’t even be here without my dad and my parents," Iñigo said.
He added that he doesn’t see it as a burden or a problem. Instead, he feels grateful because his dad paved the way for him to enter the entertainment world.
“To be compared to someone like him is really an honor,” Iñigo continued.
The young actor admitted he’s not sure if he can ever match what his father has achieved. He also openly said that, in his eyes, Piolo is definitely more handsome.
“I even brag about my dad to my friends," he shared. "'This is my dad, can you believe it? He looks like he’s just my older brother!' It’s something I’m really proud of,” Iñigo added with a smile.
Fans can catch Iñigo in the upcoming movie "Fatherland," directed by Joel Lamangan. He stars alongside Allen Dizon, Richard Yap, Kazel Kinouci, and more.
