Cesca Litton Shares Personal Battle With Breast Cancer
Former TV host Cesca Litton has revealed that she's currently undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer late last year.
In an Instagram post dated March 30, 2025, Cesca opened up about her private battle that began in December 2024. She described it as a whirlwind month filled with tests and consultations that ended with the life-changing news: she had breast cancer.
Rather than dwelling on the diagnosis, Cesca immediately focused on action. She underwent a mastectomy in January and began chemotherapy in March. Even with all these challenges, she kept her daily routine going, continuing to work and live as normally as possible.
“I didn’t really give myself time to process it,” she admitted, describing her response as, “act now, feel later.” That mentality carried over to her work and personal life. Cesca said she didn’t want the illness to take over everything and, in her words, she’s “extremely hardheaded and stubborn,” which helped her keep moving forward.
At first, she wanted to keep her condition to herself. But when her hair started falling out, even her short pixie cut couldn’t hide it, she decided to come forward. She shaved her head, prepared a wig for work, and started building a collection of scarves and turbans.
But Cesca’s post wasn’t just about her diagnosis. It was also a heartfelt thank-you to the people around her. Friends and family rallied behind her, offering their time, prayers, and quiet presence. She was overwhelmed by how much love she received and made it clear that their support has made a huge difference.
"Thank you to the people who prayed so hard for me," she wrote, adding that their prayers gave her strength during the toughest days.
Cesca also reminded her followers about the importance of regular check-ups. Breast cancer can happen to anyone, she said, and catching it early can make all the difference. She ended her post with hope and determination, saying she still has so many things she wants to do and places she wants to see.
As Cesca continues her journey, she reminds us all of the power of community, early detection, and the inner strength we sometimes don’t realize we have until we need it most.
