Back in 2020, actress Pia Moran first crossed paths with the man who would eventually become her boyfriend. But it wasn’t until 2024 that their love story truly began to blossom.
In a recent chat on the "Updated with Nelson Canlas" podcast, Pia shared just how happy she is these days — especially after spending the past seven years single.
“I just got a boyfriend recently. For seven years, I didn’t have one. Now, I finally do,” Pia shared, her excitement clear in her voice.
She added, “I’m really enjoying this time. I’m so, so happy right now because I have a boyfriend again.”
Pia said they first met on Facebook four years ago, but life got in the way and they didn't get the chance to pursue anything serious back then. Both were busy with their own lives. Now, it seems like the timing is just right for them.
The actress admitted she never expected to find love again at her age.
“I really thought I was done with relationships. I was content being single for seven years — no drama, no worries, no tears. And now, here I am, with a boyfriend again. I’m just thrilled," she said.
Even though they’ve only been together for a few months, Pia said it feels like they've been sweethearts for a long time. She’s even hopeful about what the future might bring.
“We’re still new, just a few months in, but it feels like we’ve been together forever. I’m really praying our relationship lasts. Who knows? Maybe by next year, we’ll be talking about marriage. I don’t know for sure, but I’m hopeful," she shared.
During the same interview, the woman once dubbed "Miss Body Language" opened up about why she stepped away from the spotlight. Pia revealed that she went through a difficult time after a car accident affected her appearance, and she also got caught up in a controversy.
Now, Pia is back in showbiz and ready for a fresh start. She's starring in the new movie Lola Magdalena, which is already showing in theaters. She appears alongside seasoned actresses Gloria Diaz, Liza Lorena, Perla Bautista, and Sunshine Cruz.
