She recalled how she had to flee from Istanbul covered in blood and with visible bruises, seeking help from her mother, Anabelle Rama.
During the interview, Ruffa revealed the emotional and physical abuse she suffered, saying, "The real reason I left him was because all the time, he hits me, he abuses me, he tortures me." She added that Yilmaz had made constant threats toward her and her family. Ruffa emphasized that her decision to leave was final and she did not want to return to him, even after he repeatedly tried to reconcile.
Ruffa also disclosed that she had been open about her past to Yilmaz from the beginning of their relationship, including her previous marriage, which he was well aware of. Despite his claims, she insisted that their marriage was not legally binding. Ruffa expressed that she had enough of the abuse and was determined to move on for the sake of her children, whom she promised to support independently without any help from Yilmaz.
The interview concluded with Ruffa emphasizing that her primary concern now was her well-being and that of her children. She expressed her relief in leaving the toxic relationship behind and no longer needing to hide her truth.
