Geneva Cruz and KC Montero (real name: Casey Wyatt Miller) have been married for three years but kept it a secret. KC explained in a letter, "We wanted to protect our happy little family. Celebrities are constantly scrutinized, so we wanted to keep something private. After three years, we feel it's time to share it."
They married on January 5, 2004, in a small ceremony at KC’s family home in Seattle, Washington, with just a few family members as witnesses. KC expressed, "I'm happy to be married to Geneva. She’s wonderful inside and out, and people should get to know her before judging."
Geneva's first marriage, to Paco Arespacochaga, was annulled, and they have a 10-year-old son, Heaven, who is close to KC. Geneva will perform in San Diego on December 22, and KC and Heaven will join her in the U.S. for Christmas.
In the same letter, KC defended his wife following backlash over her comments about a "one-night stand" with Keempee de Leon on DJ Mo Twister’s radio show Good Times. KC clarified, "If she offended anyone, she’s sorry. The show is just a game, and the comments are opinions, not facts. People shouldn’t judge without understanding the full story."
KC also addressed rumors about him, mentioning that comments made by others, like Borgy Manotoc calling him "plastic," didn’t bother him. He added, "I just laugh it off."
Regarding the Keempee situation, KC explained, "At the time of Geneva's comments, she and Keempee were very close friends. I met Geneva through Keempee and Lloyd Umali, and we’re all grateful for that."
KC also denied rumors about Geneva throwing flowers at kids. He said, "She loves those kids and would never do that. In fact, she gives away Heaven’s old toys to street children at Christmas, no cameras, no press, just a big heart."
