Judy Ann Santos' Cookie Jam

Judy Ann Santos, along with her boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo, hosted a fundraising event called Cookie Jam at Café Carabana in Quezon City on November 8. The event allowed Judy Ann to share her newfound passion for baking while raising funds for a good cause.

During the event, Judy Ann auctioned off baked goods she personally made, while Ryan served as the auctioneer. Proceeds from the auctioned cakes and pastries will benefit Lyrics and Sheets, a foundation supporting Ang Puro, a wellness center for aging and retired artists in Palawan.

Judy Ann explained, "It’s like hitting three birds with one stone—people enjoy delicious food, I get to do what I love, and we raise funds for a good cause." The event was a huge success, with Judy Ann’s carrot banana cake auctioned for P2,200, along with other treats like chocolate chip cookies, cream puffs, and New York cheesecake.

Judy Ann’s passion for cooking led her to study culinary arts at the Center For Asian Culinary Studies under chefs Gene Gonzalez and Jun Jun de Guzman. She shared that baking brings her fulfillment, especially when she can share her creations with others.

At a separate interview during the Metro Manila Film Fest press conference, Judy Ann revealed that the event raised P43,000 from ticket sales and the auctioned goods, excluding the income from the used clothes sale. She expressed gratitude to all those who supported the event and hinted at expanding her culinary offerings. "Next time, we’ll focus on main dishes instead of just desserts," she said.

The second Cookie Jam event is set for November 15, featuring performances by Cookie Chua, Radha, and Maegan Aguilar, with more of Judy Ann’s baked goodies up for auction.
