Kyline Alcantara Finds Simple Ways to Give Back Amid Rising Fuel Costs
With fuel prices continuing to rise, a lot of people are feeling the pressure, and Kyline Alcantara is no exception. But instead of just adjusting her lifestyle, she’s also thinking of ways to help others who are struggling even more.
One thing that really touched me was her reason behind it. Kyline shared that she wants to do something special as a tribute to her grandfather, who used to work as a jeepney driver in Bicol. That personal connection made her idea even more heartfelt. She mentioned wanting to visit a fuel station and offer help in her own simple way, especially to drivers who are directly affected by the rising costs.
Like many of us, Kyline has also started making small changes in her daily routine to save money. She tries to limit unnecessary trips and has become more mindful of expenses at home. Simple habits like unplugging appliances and keeping things switched off when not in use are now part of her everyday routine.
Outside of this, Kyline has also been spending time reflecting. She recently shared a cover of the song “Risk It All” by Bruno Mars, inspired by videos she saw online where people dedicated the song to their faith. For her, it felt like the perfect expression of devotion, especially during the Holy Week season.
At the same time, she’s also preparing for her upcoming series, Task Force: Firewall. To get ready for her role, she’s been doing a mix of Pilates, boxing, and even Muay Thai training. It’s clear she’s putting in the work both physically and mentally.
Balancing personal challenges, faith, and career isn’t always easy, but Kyline seems to be handling it with intention. And honestly, her effort to give back, even in a small way, says a lot about her.
