SB19 Fan Jokingly Asked for a Bigger Photo, Acer Gave a Billboard and an LRT Train Instead!

Only in the world of A’TIN could a simple Facebook comment turn into something this epic. When one SB19 fan jokingly asked Acer Philippines for a larger version of the group’s photo in their #AcerCampus2025 campaign, the brand didn’t just reply, they went all out.

It started when the fan commented under a Facebook cover photo, saying, “Ninang, wala bang ilalaki ito!? Malabo po ang Mahalima.” Instead of brushing it off, Acer fired back with a playful response: “Sige ipapa-billboard natin.” Everyone thought it was just a funny comeback, but lo and behold, Acer meant it.

A few days later, a giant billboard featuring SB19 went up along EDSA, proudly showcasing the group in crystal clear quality. As if that wasn’t enough, Acer followed it up with an even bigger surprise, a full SB19-themed train wrap on LRT Line 2! Imagine riding to school or work with SB19 literally riding with you. Kilig much?

According to Princess Laosantos, Acer Philippines’ Senior Marketing Manager, the move reflects how much they value their brand ambassadors and the fans behind them. “SB19 embodies the heart of our campaign, and when fans show this much love, we want to match their energy,” she said.

All this is part of the #AcerCampus2025 promo, which runs until July 13, 2025. Students can get up to ₱20,000 in discounts and eGifts worth as much as ₱10,000 when buying select Acer laptops. So if you’ve been eyeing a new device, now’s the time.

Let’s just say, when A’TIN said “Gusto namin mas malaki,” Acer took it seriously, and delivered in a big way.
