BTS Nears Complete Reunion as Suga Wraps Up Military Service This June

BTS fans have something big to look forward to: Suga is finally wrapping up his mandatory military service and will be officially discharged on June 21. With this, the global supergroup will soon be whole again, much to the excitement of ARMYs everywhere.

BigHit Music, the agency behind BTS, shared the news on Weverse, confirming that Suga’s stint as a social work personnel is almost over. For context, social service roles in Korea are assigned to those who can’t serve as active-duty soldiers for health or other valid reasons, which made Suga’s duty a few months longer than standard military service.

BigHit also reminded everyone to skip visiting any sites during his discharge day. They emphasized that no special gatherings will happen to avoid crowding and ensure everyone’s safety. Instead, they encouraged fans to cheer Suga on from afar and to keep supporting him in spirit.

Suga’s return follows the discharge of his bandmates RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, who came back earlier this month. Jin and J-Hope completed their service last year. Now, with Suga back, BTS is ready to take the world stage again as a full seven-member group.

BigHit took this moment to thank ARMYs for standing by the group through their military chapter and promised to continue supporting BTS in every way possible. With Suga finally rejoining the crew, fans can’t wait to see what BTS has planned next.
