Christian Bautista, known across Asia as a romantic balladeer and multi-talented performer, has just reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to GMA Network. On May 6, 2025, he officially signed a contract renewal at the GMA Network Center, marking over 10 years as part of the Kapuso family.
Since joining GMA back in 2013, Christian has become one of the network’s most admired stars. He’s done it all, from coaching hopefuls on The Clash to delivering memorable musical numbers on All-Out Sundays. His consistency and talent have not gone unnoticed, both locally and abroad. He was recently named one of the 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World by The Outstanding Filipinos in America, with the award ceremony set to take place in Las Vegas this October.
Surrounded by GMA’s top executives during the signing, including GMA President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. and EVP Felipe S. Yalong, Christian shared his gratitude. He spoke about how GMA has not just given him a platform, but also helped him grow personally and professionally. He thanked the network for allowing him to explore new roles, reach more audiences, and stay relevant in a fast-changing industry.
Also present at the event was his wife and manager, Kat Ramnani-Bautista, who is also the Chief Operating Officer of NYMA, the agency managing Christian. She expressed how proud she is of Christian’s journey and acknowledged the importance of the support he’s received from GMA. “Christian’s career is a great example of what happens when an artist is trusted and empowered,” she said.
Christian also made sure to thank his management team at NYMA for helping him showcase different sides of himself, from the romantic balladeer to a more relaxed, relatable personality that younger audiences now see. He also gave a heartfelt shoutout to the press, the media, and his loyal fanbase, fondly known as the Christian Friends, who have supported him from day one.
As a treat to everyone who attended, Christian performed his iconic hit The Way You Look at Me, a song that has truly stood the test of time, much like his career.
Christian Bautista continues to prove that in an industry where careers can be fleeting, staying true to your craft and building strong relationships can make all the difference.
