PuriMon Announces They’re Parting Ways After 10 Amazing Years

After a decade of making music together, the Japanese girl group PuriMon is officially heading toward a new chapter—separately.

Originally known as Pretty☆Monster 12 years ago, the group eventually rebranded into PuriMon and spent the last 10 years building their name in the J-pop world. This April 21, the group took to X (formerly Twitter) to share some bittersweet news: they’ll be disbanding at the end of 2025, right after their farewell concert on December 28.

According to their announcement, the decision wasn’t made lightly. The four members spent time discussing their future and ultimately agreed that it was time to move forward with individual careers. It's been a long journey filled with both highlights and challenges, and they’re choosing to wrap up their story without regrets.

Their manager, Kuroki, also spoke on their behalf, thanking the fans who stood by them through every high and low. He shared that while this chapter is ending, exciting updates about the members' future plans will be shared soon.

Even though it’s always tough to see a beloved group say goodbye, there's also a sense of pride knowing they’re moving on with the love and support of their fans.
