Toni Gonzaga's "We Belong" Not Original

Toni Gonzaga’s song We Belong has been the subject of several internet discussions. Pinoys who listen to Utada Hikaru have claimed that Toni’s version is a copy of Utada’s First Love.

I have yet to hear Toni Gonzaga or ABS-CBN's side regarding this issue. We Belong is the local theme song for the Korean drama series Wonderful Life, which airs on ABS-CBN every 10:30 PM.

i mashed the two songs up - they're VERY close to each other, especially with the first part of the chorus and the "sound", but i'd rather say that it's a very near copy of the Utada Hikaru version... in some ways, O&L's "Pinoy Ako" falls into the same bucket of near-copys. :)

it's obvious naman n ginaya lang ni toni karamihan ng first of utada, noh! the first time pa lang n narinig ko ung we belong ni toni, the first thing that comes up to my mind is, IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE FIRST LOVE OF UTADA HIKARU. kaya tigilanlan n ng kampo ni toni na its originally done by them, noh?!
